Leadership and Teamwork Sminar

TOPIC:
Succeeding With Teams

We work in teams as part of the SmartGeo program, but we also participate in informal groups as part of our daily lives without really thinking of it as teamwork. There is a deep body of knowledge developed from studying successful teams, and we have all experienced frustration in teams that do not work well together. What if we could actively incorporate the common factors of successful teams into our daily interactions? In this presentation, we will look at the factors of successful teams and what makes a truly high performance team achieve exceptional results. The session will include time to discuss teamwork as part of the SmartGeo program, and how these lessons can be carried forward beyond your doctoral studies.
